ENGLISH Championship side, the Bedford Blues, have indicated that Munster have snapped up the services of their exciting Irish U-19 centre Corey Hircock.
Milton Keynes native Hircock has impressed for the Irish U-19s this season in the 15-0 win over the Australian Schoolboys in Cork last December and more recently in the thrilling one-point win over France at Donnybrook in April.
On their official website, the Bedford Blues are reporting that the versatile Hircock, who can play in the centre or on the wing, is leaving their Goldington Road base at the end of this season.
Bedford’s Director of Rugby, Mike Rayer said: “We had hoped that Corey would stay with us on a development contract, but when a club like Munster comes calling it is very hard to turn that down and everyone wishes him well.”
